Welcome to Kaipara Flats Cricket, we are a rural club just one hour north of Auckland, New Zealand. We are affiliated to the Rodney, Northland and Northern Districts Cricket Associations.
Kaipara Flats Cricket Club has a long, illustrious history and celebrated it’s centennial back in 1989. Our club is the home of former Black Caps Hamish and James Marshall. We also boast a number of former first class cricketers in Ewen Thompson and Kevin Forde and a large contingent of players representing the Northland Men’s, B, and Junior and Senior Secondary Schools teams.
We are one of the strongest clubs in the Northland region and went on to represent Northern Districts Association in the National Club Champs back in 2013, making us one of the top 6 teams in the country that season
We are the current Dargaville Shield holder and have won numerous titles over the last 5 years including the Lion Red One Day and Northland T20 Competitions.
We have a senior side playing in the Rodney District area and our Premier side plays Twenty/20, one day and two day fixtures in the Whangarei, Northland competitions.
This seasons we have the services of Surrey first class cricketer Luke Beaven as our overseas player/coach. He will also be working for Rodney and Northland Cricket Association delivering coaching into the local school in the Rodney District.
The Kaipara Flats Cricket Club welcomes new members.
